Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
This week’s episode of All Songs Considered includes the premiere of a third song from Unrepentant Geraldines: “16 Shades Of Blue!” During the show, hosts Bob Boilen and Robin Hilton listen to and then discuss what they think of it. Spoiler: they like it!
If you just want to hear the song, stream it with NPR’s media player from the playlist on the show’s page.
Alternatively, stream or download the whole program to hear Robin Hilton’s thoughts on the song after they play it. It’s the first song they review but the rest of the program is worth a spin too with songs by Zee Avi, Solvents, Fenster, Alice Boman, and Milezo.
Thanks to Fox Hunt for the link!
Phil Marriott’s conversation with Tori for Gaydio was broadcast this past weekend on his show on Sunday. Tori was the focus of the program with the interview and several of her songs taking up the middle hour and 15 minutes of the two hour program. Fortunately, for those who missed it, Phil has uploaded the entire interview to Mixcloud for on-demand listening. Enjoy!
Last weekend, a number of new interviews, reviews and radio appearances all came and went. Unfortunately, all three of us were unable to work on the site at the time and none of them were posted — although we did manage to keep our Twitter and Facebook up-to-date, thanks to those fancy smartphones we all pay so dearly for. Adding insult to injury, between the day jobs and keeping up with the redhead in New York City this past week, none of that stuff made it up either.
We will get it all posted but here’s a quick rundown to make sure none of you missed anything before the tour starts tomorrow! (!!!)

Unrepentant Geraldines Reviews
Just got word from Klaudia that Tori is Piotr Kaczkowski’s guest on Minimax tonight on Polskie Trójka.
The program airs from 10:05 PM until Midnight CEST and the interview should be aired after 11:00 PM — so within the next hour. Listen live on the web at http://www.polskieradio.pl/Player/-3.
Update: Only the first half of this interview was aired tonight. The second half will be broadcast next Sunday evening.
Tori was on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz on Friday, May 2nd. She closed off the show with a brief conversation about how songs develop from conversations with people, preparing for touring, and pen burglary followed by a performance of “Trouble’s Lament.” Enjoy!
There are several radio and television appearances coming up to keep an eye and ear out for…
First, there’s one more upcoming television appearance — that we know of — for this spate of promo before the tour begins next week: Tori will be on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live on Friday, May 2nd on…drum roll please…VH1! The show is on at 10:00 AM EDT and PDT. Set those video recording devices!
Second, this coming Sunday, May 4th, Phil Marriot’s entire two-hour program on Gaydio will be devoted to Tori. He interviewed her during the Unrepentant Geraldines promo whirlwind in the United Kingdom a couple weeks ago and their conversation will be aired during the program. Tune in at 6:00 PM BST. Looking forward to that!
Third, as we reported earlier that an appearance for Europe 1’s On connaît la musique was recorded last week. An airdate is now set for the episode she will be on: Saturday, May 10th. The program starts at 10:00 PM CEST, with the guest appearance usually starting at 11:00 PM. Thanks again to Tori Amos France for the information!
Fourth, a couple photos posted to social media tipped everyone off that she had recorded a session for the public radio program Echoes at the New York City venue Subculture. A quick perusal of their upcoming shows indicates that the session will be aired on the Monday May 12th edition of the program or, for stations that carry the weekend-only version of the program, during the following weekend. Check their station listings to find a radio station that carries the program in your area.
Finally, this Flickr set leads one to expect an in-studios on WFUV in the near future. So far, nothing has been posted on WFUV’s website. WFUV’s upcoming listsings now have Tori appearing on FUV Live (more like FUV Pre-recorded in this case) on Thursday, May 22nd at 9:00 PM Eastern.
While we’re waiting for the performance of “Trouble’s Lament” on The Katie Couric Show to emerge, why don’t you enjoy this pro-shot performance video of the same song from the April 8th Unrepentant Geraldines release kick-off party in Berlin?
This footage was premiered by Rolling Stone Germany — and we’d love to see the rest of that mini-concert surface too! (Nudge nudge wink wink say no more!)
As we mentioned earlier, Tori made an appearance on The Katie Couric Show today. After a refreshing conversation with Katie about the origins of Unrepentant Geraldines, which will now and forever be sub-titled “Secret Sonic Selfies” in our minds, and the nature of her childhood relationship with music, Tori performed Trouble’s Lament” for a live studio audience.
Video of the interview segment has been posted on the show’s website. Check it out below — and fingers crossed for the performance to be added soon too.
Due to the technical problems with the live stream last night, SPIN and TourGigs will be rewebcasting (if that’s not a word, it is now) last night’s in-store performance at Rough Trade tonight at 7 PM Eastern. That’s in just under a hour from when this post goes up (sorry for the late notice, work meetings conference calls blah blah yadda yadda yadda).
Tune in if you can!
WNYC has added the video for Tori’s in-studio appearance on Soundcheck from earlier this week. The footage only includes the three songs performed on the program so one will have to go to the audio, also available, to hear the conversation with host John Schaefer.
