EverythingTori has added a setlist for the Rome concert and a photograph from what appears to be its soundcheck to the American Doll Posse tour section of their website. Fly Beeyond Festival Tickets On-Sale

    Thursday, May 31, 2007 | 03:10 UTC | Posted by woj | Touring

Christos alerted us to the fact that Ticketnet.gr is now selling tickets for the Fly Beeyond Festival in Athens, where Tori is playing on July 18th. Tickets are 63 € for a single day and scale up from there if you want to attend multiple days of the festival.

If you can not read Greek, there is a page in English where you can submit contact information to Ticketnet.gr so that they can contact you to complete the sale. I do not know if there are any limitations for using the Greek order form for people from outside Greece.

Update: According to Christos, the order forms — both Greek and English — appear to be tailored for Greek inhabitants. However, he indicates that it is always possible to order tickets for pick-up at the Ticketnet office or the Badminton Theatre. And, as always, it never hurts to “contact Ticketnet”;http://www.ticketnet.gr/contactENG.html to find out for sure.

    ADP Tour Merchandise

    Thursday, May 31, 2007 | 01:59 UTC | Posted by woj | Touring

While the details are sketchy, it appears there is a variety of merchandise being sold during the tour including several different t-shirts, a tour program (scans of which can be found in CollectingBees.com’s photo gallery, a poster, a scarf, and coffee mugs. I believe I also saw mention of a tour necklace though I can not confirm that.

In various discussion fora, the t-shirts have been described as:

    • one shirt which includes the caption “Got MILF?”
    • one with wolves howling at the moon and lyrics from “Mr. Bad Man”
    • one with a graphic of Santa and a lyrics from “Programmable Soda”
    • one shirt with lyrics from “Teenage Hustling”
    • one shirt with lyrics from “Bouncing Off Clouds”

If anyone can provide additional details about or photographs of the merch, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Florence, Italy: Yo Isabel!

    Wednesday, May 30, 2007 | 23:34 UTC | Posted by Violet | Touring

Isabel made her first appearance tonight in Florence. There were reportedly some technical problems during “Almost Rosey” ( vocal problems? confirmed to be a sound issue) and when Tori left the stage as Isabel during the interlude, she was reported to be visibly upset about it. (She did NOT leave the stage immediately after or during “Almost Rosey” — thanks for the clarification, Andy.)

The show featured an expanded version of “Devils & Gods”, the b-side “Sweet Dreams”, “Caught A Lite Sneeze”, and “Space Dog”. The solo songs performed were “Winter” and “Daisy Dead Petals”. Additionally, Tori improved about celebrities and cocaine at the start of the solo part of the show. “Big Wheel” and “Code Red” again bracketed Act II, so they appear to be the anchor songs for Tori’s part of the show. The “Professional Widow” remix was played again during the costume change. Finally, Mark played guitar on-stage during Isabel’s set — let’s hope someone was minding the store back at the mixing desk!

If you were there and wish to share you thoughts or media about the show, head over to the Florence concert page and use the Comment form at the bottom!

Tori In Israel In The News

    Wednesday, May 30, 2007 | 13:40 UTC | Posted by woj | Touring

The Jerusalem Post reports on the upcoming show in Ra’anana, Israel. While getting the opening city of the tour wrong, they do provide a few logistical details of interest about gear (11 tons of it!) crew size (12 people) and venue alternations to accommodate the performance.

    The Tour Has Begun!

    Monday, May 28, 2007 | 21:29 UTC | Posted by Violet | Touring

The first show of the tour in Rome is in the books! Santa opened the show with a set of her songs, starting with “Body & Soul.” Tori, Jon and Matt were joined by guitarist Dan Phelps on songs from American Doll Posse. There is video of several songs thanks to Robert. And thanks to mina and thewaves for sending the setlist in to The Afterglow! As far as we know, no Popes were in attendance….

Keep track of what’s going on and what reports, photos and video people have sent in for each show by heading over to the Tour page and clicking on the “flashback” link for each concert. And if you attended a show, please comment with your review and we’ll add it to the site!

    A-Touring We Will Go...

    Monday, May 28, 2007 | 10:31 UTC | Posted by Violet | Site News,Touring

The first show is tonight, so I wanted to explain how we’re going to handle concert details here on the site. (C’mon, you didn’t think we were going to leave that out, did you???)

As each show is in progress, the links in the Details column on the Tour page — the ones that have shown on-sale status so far — will automagically morph into links that say “flashback”. When you click on a “flashback” link, you’ll be taken to a page where you can both submit and read details about the concerts (setlists, photos, info, thoughts, etc.; M&G information and stories are also encouraged).

So wheeeee … let’s get this show on the road! We can’t wait to find out which doll is going to kick the tour off.

(Oh, and just a reminder that if you don’t see the new links appear, refresh the page or clear your browser cache.)

    Pop Quiz! Personal Posse Politics!

    Sunday, May 27, 2007 | 16:56 UTC | Posted by woj | Articles

Ultimately, it’s about listening to the music. Just listen to the record and rock and get some mojo and go shag your wife. Or just shag yourself.

This short and somewhat strange interview appeared in the May 27th edition of the San Francisco Chronicle.
