Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Joan Anderman attended the October 18th show at the Orpheum Theatre and her review for the Boston Globe indicates she left a little less than impressed. One suspects Pip doesn’t give a flip…
Clyde started the second show at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston. Her set included the tour debut of “Girl Disappearing” and the rarely played — on this tour — “Little Amsterdam”. After the interlude, Tori came back out and banged through a raucous set which featured “Space Dog”, “Sugar”, “Bells For Her” (with an lengthy introduction due to technical problems she was having with her in-ear monitors), “Spring Haze” (preceded by a dark improv about new beginnings), “Northern Lad” and “Parasol”. The full setlist has (finally!) been posted in the tour section.
If you were there, please let everyone know what you thought of the show by posting a review using the comment form on that page!
This show is already available for download from Legs & Boots! I guess the bootleg gnomes don’t sleep….
We’ve gotten several reports of problems with toribootlegs.com, especially since the Boston show was added this morning.
I was planning on grabbing this show anyway, so I just bought it and, I’m somewhat hesitant to report, the download went smooth as silk.
So, while Undented is not in the business of tech support, maybe some of the following will be of assistance….
I’m currently using the newest version of Firefox (version 2.0.0.8) with version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_06-b05) of Sun’s Java 2 Platform Standard Edition.
A quick perusal of the toribootlegs.com FAQ shows a couple potential pitfalls that may be affecting some of you:
And please note this entry if you are using Microsoft’s Vista operating system.
If you are still having troubles, the best advice we can give is to contact customer support, providing them as much detail as possible so that they can help diagnose and solve your problem. (I can’t stress that enough! Details, details, details! The devil is always in the details!)
We’ll be keeping a current copy of the FAQ in this article, behind the cut, for easy access and reference.
We hope this helps and wish you all happy downloading and listening!
Sony has started posting a series of exclusive video clips, Tori’s Quicktime Tour Countdown, in which Tori talks about American Doll Posse and the world tour she’s currently on supporting it. Everyday through October 24th, a new clip will be posted. The first clip, where Tori briefly discusses “Bouncing Off Clouds” and the song is then played over a still image of the album cover, is up now.
As the name implies, Quicktime is required to view the Countdown clips. Well, at least until someone captures, converts and uploads them to YouTube….
Update*: Shazam! Thanks to Melissa for putting the Quicktime Countdown on YouTube! Jump the cut for the clips!
ToriAmos.com has announced that Canadian Toriphiles can now purchase recordings from Legs & Boots. (For those of you not paying attention, that’s the download service for live recordings from Tori’s current tour.)
Pip opened the first of two nights at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre tonight. Pip’s portion of the evening was fairly standard, though reportedly very strong. The rest of the concert featured “Etienne”, “Virginia”, “Digital Ghost”, and the debuts of “Concertina” and “Jackie’s Strength”! The whole set has been posted on the first Boston page in the Tour section. Thanks to the texters and the folks on the forums for feeding the tunes played.
If you were there, please tell us what you thought of the show using the comment form there!
Update: This performance is now available for purchase and download from Legs & Boots!
Jenn and Jessica told us that Everything Tori made this announcement on the 17th of October 2007:
Tori would like to let all of her Pittsburgh fans know that her October 30, 2007 show at the Benedum Center is a Halloween show! Tori’s entire crew (including that spooky seductress, Santa) will be dressing up! Please join them by wearing your favorite Halloween costume!
Woo hoo! Are you guys ready to trick or treat with Santa? I know I am!
A.D. Amorosi reviewed the October 15th concert at Upper Darby’s Tower Theatre for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
On the other hand, Sasha Frere-Jones was not as charitable in his review of the second show at Madison Square Garden from his blog on The New Yorker Online (I don’t believe this review is in the print magazine). However, while he may have a point about the costumes and wigs and dolls, it is interesting to compare his thoughts on the concert with his thoughts on the album....
Thanks to char for the link!
Thanks to meg o for pointing out this review of the first New York City show that David Sprague wrote for Variety. Apparently, he didn’t get the memo that Mac Aladdin isn’t playing on the tour anymore. But that’s okay, it’s still a nice recap of the performance.
