Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
Reuters has posted a short video report on the new record which includes some interview footage with Tori where she discusses the impetus behind the new album, the piano and composition. Check it out below…
(Sorry, you may have to watch an ad to get to the clip…)
Tori is listed as one of the upcoming guests on Q Radio. According to their post, she’ll be making an appearance in their studios on Monday, May 25th. The time should be announced as the date approaches. Looks like they archive in-studio appearances so it should be available for on-demand streaming after the fact.
Anna was the first to let us know that the video (wait, I thought they were visualettes!) for “Fire To Your Plain” was added to Amazon’s page for the deluxe Abnormally Attracted to Sin (that explains what the Google Alert I didn’t have time to check at work today was about).
As reported, Tori made a brief appearance on the ZDF’s Morgenmagazin this morning. There was a short interview and a she played “Welcome to England,” though it was cut off when they cut to news.
Through the magic of The Internet, you can watch it now in all its overdubbed glory on ZDF’s website, but it’s also made its way to YouTube already as well:
Thanks to Kelly, Dyana and Dylo for the links!
Tweet and they shall come! Tori (or her peeps) posted to Twitter that she would be on German television Monday morning. That prompted the intrepid Doerthe to do a little digging and she found a press release confirming that Tori would be on ZDF’s morning program, Morgenmagazin on Monday, May 4th. According to the release, Tori is slated to be on towards the end of the program, around 8:50 AM CEST to chat about the new record.
Thanks to her for the detective work and hope this is posted early enough that some of you over in Deutschland are able to catch this!
The final part of LP33’s Tori interview has been posted. As promised, LP33 is also offering a free download of the track “Maybe California” from the upcoming record. If you haven’t already done so, head on over to their site to download the mp3 … and watch the fourth part of the interview below:
The third part of LP33.tv’s four-part interview with Tori is up! Check it out:
As expected, Tori will be making other promotional radio appearances in the run-up to the album release. Bas Akkerman let us know that she’s be on 3VOOR12 Live on the Dutch station VPRO on Thursday, May 7th. A small studio audience will be enjoying the performance while it is broadcast, so we’re looking forward to hearing from anyone who is lucky enough to be there in person.
When a new Tori record approaches, the radio promotion engine revs up and this time around looks to be no different.
First, BMac found a listing which indicates that Tori will be playing at the Radiokulturhaus in Vienna on Wednesday, May 6th. The concert will be recorded and broadcast on Austrian radio station FM4 on May 14th. The performance will also be made available for on-demand video streaming from FM4’s website on May 14th as well.
Second, Bill reports hearing on KCRW today that Tori will be Jason Bentley’s guest on the venerable Morning Becomes Eclectic on May 18th. The listings on the website don’t go out quite that far yet, but we’ve no reason to doubt that Tori wouldn’t make a return visit to this flagship radio program, where she’s promoted new albums several times before.
Undoubtedly, more radio appearances will be planned, so if you catch whiff of one in your neck of the woods, please let us know so we can alert the masses!
