Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
The BBC’s Dazed and Confused – The Led Zeppelin Legacy, Johnnie Walker’s evaluation of the appeal and influence of the legendary band to which Tori contributed some commentary, will be aired again on Radio 2 at 10:30 PM BST on September 30th (that’s 5:30 PM Eastern and 2:30 PM Pacific for the Americans). The program should be available for a week on the BBC’s media player for a week after the airing if you miss the rebroadcast and want to hear what she has to say…or if you just want to fill in the gaps of your Zep knowledge.
Another video interview clip has surfaced from the Comic Book Tattoo media blitz. Not having had a chance to view the whole thing yet, we would guess that this is another segment of the the Comic Book Resources interview, but it is actually hosted by the record store itself on their site.
View it on their site or below, thanks to super-hetrodyne object embedding technology!
Thanks to Darrell for letting us know about it and to Amoeba for posting it!
Last Thursday, Tori joined musician David Holmes, actor David Soul and host Steve Lamacq on the BBC 6 Music program Roundtable. During this weekly segment of Steve Lamacq’s afternoon radio shift, guests critique and rate new songs on 6 Music’s playlist. This past week, the panel of esteemed guests turned their baleful gaze on Keane, Bloc Party, Fleet Foxes, James Yuill, MGMT, and Razorlight. You can listen to what Tori and the rest had to say about these songs on the BBC’s media player. Note that the archive with Tori will be replaced after the next Roundtable airs on Thursday afternoon, so listen quickly if you want to check it out. Thanks to alice for the tip!
After a couple of false starts, it looks like Rantz Hoseley‘s visit to discuss Comic Book Tattoo with Dave Navarro on Spread TV should finally be up sometime today (August 28th) over on maniaTV. That’s what the giant banner on the front page says, at any rate, though the episode isn’t listed in today’s schedule on the site. The best we can suggest is that you keep checking. It’ll show up eventually. We hope.
Tori was interviewed by Comic Book Resources at Amoeba Records, before Comic-Con, and the video of their conversation was posted on CBR last Thursday. Tori discusses her friendship with Rantz, the origins of Comic Book Tattoo, and her future with the music industry. Check it out below or at CBR!
Thanks to Kate and jess for the link!
A million thanks to toritattoo for transcribing the webchat Tori did earlier this week. Whether you missed the chat and don’t want to watch the video stream or just want to remind yourself about something she said, read on to check it out!
Did you miss the chat today? Or do you want to check it out again? Weel, Ustream recorded it and and it’s now available for your streaming pleasure! During the session, that lasted about a half-hour, she talked about her current projects including the Comic Book Tattoo anthology, The Light Princess musical and answered many other questions posed to her by the folks on Meebo. We’ll try to work up a transcript as soon as we can, but if someone beats us to it and send it in, we certainly won’t complain! ;-)
Check out the stream below:
According to Everything Tori, Tori will be doing a live video chat on Wednesday, July 23rd at 4:00 PM PT on ToriAmos.com via Meebo. Among other things, she will be discussing the Comic Book Tattoo anthology and the other projects she is working on.
BBC America will be rerunning the episode of The Graham Norton Show that featured Tori and Gérard Depardieu on July 15th at 3:00 AM Eastern/Midnight Pacific. Note, this will be late on the evening of July 14th/early on the morning of the 15th!
The episode was originally aired back on May 10, 2007. If you don’t have BBC America or don’t want to wait, there a slew of video clips available from the appearance on several video services across the Web.
Thanks to Parker for catching this!
