Tori Is Woman, Hear Her Roar

According the BBC Press Office, Tori was one of several women interviewed for “I Am Woman,” an upcoming BBC Radio documentary about Helen Reddy’s song of the same name and the women’s movement, emphasizing the perspective of women in arts and entertainment. Hosted by Mariella Frostrup, the program airs on BBC Radio 2 on Tuesday, March 11th at 10:30 PM GMT

Radio 2 can be heard in a variety of ways, but their online stream will probably be of most interest to the average Undented reader. If you miss it, the BBC seems to archive most of their documentaries so you should be able to catch it there.

Tori And Perez (And A Doll's Tea Party)

We know many of you are off skiing or celebrating the last president who allegedly never told lies (Yo, George), but some of you are itching to see Perez Hilton’s “Divas” visit with Tori tomorrow and noticed that he posted a pretty cute picture of himself with Tori over on his site:

Tori A Diva? Perez Says ...

Well, we’re getting more details on the upcoming VH1 What Perez Sez About Divas program. Like, it’s going to air Feb. 19 — not Feb. 12, as previously reported. Over on the VH1 site, we learn “Catching up with Tori Amos, Perez gets behind Tori’s wig fetish.” Stay tuned to find out exactly what that means. Tori's Soundstage Show Returns to VH1

What Perez Sez About Divas To Air In February

EverythingTori has announced that the upcoming episode of What Perez Sez that features, among others, Tori will be aired on February 12th. VH1’s programming schedule only goes out to the end of January (and the other television listing sites don’t go much farther) so the exact times are not available yet.

As reported earlier, the topic of this upcoming show is divas. We really have no idea — none whatsoever! — as to why Tori would be on such a program! Honest!

Music Express Interview Re-run Redux

Thanks to Mara for catching that Dave Fanning’s 2005 Music Express interview with Tori will be reaired two more times this week on Ovation:

• Thursday, January 17, 2008 – 10:00 PM EST
• Friday January 18, 2008 – 1:00 AM EST

While we still don’t have many details about this interview (unless someone is holding out on us!), a quick search turned up a clip of the interview posted by Ovation on YouTube just a week or so ago:

The Radio 2 Music Club Guide To Tori

Tori was featured briefly on Simon Mayo’s BBC Radio 2 Music Club tonight, January 7th, during the “Music Club Guide” segment of the program. When he interviewed her last year, he asked her to select the song of hers that she felt was crucial to understanding her music — “Silent All These Years” — as well as a song by another artist that influenced her — Jimi Hendrix’s “Hey Joe”. The two tracks, along with Tori’s comments on them, were broadcast tonight.

While the program has already aired, you can listen to an archived RealAudio stream for the next week via the BBC’s iPlayer. The segments starts about 15 minutes into the program. And those of you in the UK, can download the program as a podcast.

Tori Talks Musical, Downloads On Polish Radio

Speedie sent us a link to a new Tori interview from Polish radio where she discusses many subjects, including the “Light Princess” musical and thoughts on her future as a recording artist; she even said she might offer future albums for download, rather than publishing them through a record label.
