Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages since we often post quickie updates there when we're on-the-go.
During tours, we do our best to cover setlists in real-time on Twitter. If you want to tweet a show in, just DM or @ us on the day and tell us to watch your stream that night.
Tori is touring in 2017 to support the release of Native Invader. The European legs runs from early September through early October and the North American leg runs from late October to early December. We do not know if additional dates elsewhere will be added.
Be sure to check out our other sections, Tour — where setlists and other concert-related material will be updated daily while Tori is on tour — and You. Lots of interesting stuff!
The fabulous Trent and his bestest friend, Sarah, did a superfun 40-minute interview with Tori backstage before her Detroit concert at the Fox Theater for Trent’s website, Pink Is The New Blog. Head over to Pink to read about their wonderful experience, listen to the entire audio interview, and see some cute piccies.
(If anyone would like to take up the daunting task of transcribing this interview for us, please do.)
Thanks to Beth, Lauren Shand, Selenya, and karen! for keeping us updated.
According the their program listing, there will be some live Tori Amos footage included during The Last Broadcast on the Irish television station RTE2 tonight at 11:30pm local time.
Thanks to lucy who found an article in The Daily Mirror mentioned the program! Hopefully a few people are able to see and maybe record whatever it is that is shown!
Sony has started posting a series of exclusive video clips, Tori’s Quicktime Tour Countdown, in which Tori talks about American Doll Posse and the world tour she’s currently on supporting it. Everyday through October 24th, a new clip will be posted. The first clip, where Tori briefly discusses “Bouncing Off Clouds” and the song is then played over a still image of the album cover, is up now.
As the name implies, Quicktime is required to view the Countdown clips. Well, at least until someone captures, converts and uploads them to YouTube….
Update*: Shazam! Thanks to Melissa for putting the Quicktime Countdown on YouTube! Jump the cut for the clips!
Tori performed “Bouncing Off Clouds” on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on October 11, 2007. The song was actually taped back on April 26th when she also performed “Big Wheel” for an earlier appearance on the program. That early date explains the trio configuration of just Tori, Jon Evans and Matt Chamberlain (in contrast to the full band with Dan Phelps on guitar on The Tonight Show on October 1st). There was no interview segment — just the performance which, of course, can be found on YouTube:
Missed the Video Chat earlier today? Or not one of the lucky people who were able to view it while it happened? Fortunately, the entire chat has been archived online for the rest of us! Check it out or watch it below:
Update: Belinda has posted a transcript of the chat on the Intertube — thanks!
The latest edition of the newsletter says there will be an online video chat with Tori on Thursday, October 11th, at Noon.
The chat will take place at Toriamos.com and will only last about 20 minutes, so don’t be late!
Tori was on Oz television’s Channel 9 this morning, where she was interviewed on a program called Sunday. You may not be able to see the video unless you have Internet Explorer installed, so be warned. You can check out the accompanying text here. Thanks to the many of you who sent this in, including Anna, who was the first.
UPDATE It’s on YouTube too, thanks to kalysc:
Tori performed “Bouncing Off Clouds” on The Tonight Show on Monday, October 1st. If, like me, you slept through it by accident (damn you comfy couch!), YouTube is your friend!
Thanks to robbit, Tony, and Saar for the link!
Update: Lisa071573 attended the taping. Jump the cut for her account of the performance and a brief (and I mean brief) video of Tori leaving afterwards.
As earlier mentioned, Tori was interviewed by Robbie Buck (Australian Triple J’s Top Shelf radio program) on Thursday 13th of September 2007. This interview was filmed and then broadcast on jtv on Friday 28th of September 2007. In this interview she talks about her alter egos and writes an apology note to Richard Kingsmill for an interview they did together in 1998. You can now view the video here.
Update: The video has unsurprisingly surfaced on YouTube as well:

According to RockOnTV and The Late Night TV Page, Tori will be one of Craig Ferguson’s guests on The Late Late Show on Thursday, October 11th (technically, very early Friday morning, but late Thursday night for all intents and purposes). As Tori will be playing in New York City that day, one assumes that the appearance will be taped earlier, probably around the same time as the Leno appearance next week. She is not listed, however, on The Late Late Show’s taping schedule yet.
Update: As Nathan kindly reminded us, Tori taped TWO songs back in April: “Big Wheel” and “Bouncing Off Clouds”. The former was broadcast in May, so it seems most likely that the latter would be broadcast during this upcoming appearance.
The Late Late Show airs at 12:35 AM Eastern/Pacific on CBS but check your local listings just in case your local CBS affiliate, like mine, elects to air it at a different time (1:35 AM here in Connecticut — should we call it The Late Late Late Show instead?).
