Mayfly and Armen dropped by tonight to let us know that Perez Hilton is shining his spotlight on Tori again, this time for an improv she did in honor of Lindsay Lohan during her May 30 show in Florence, Italy. Click the link to see what Perez had to say, or just check out the video below, in which the improv leads into a performance of “Winter”:

Bouncing Off Clouds Video on Rage

    Tuesday, August 28, 2007 | 02:24 UTC | Posted by woj | Releases,TV/Radio/Web

Christian pointed out that the Australian music video program Rage has added the “Bouncing Off Clouds” video to its playlist. You can view it now on ABC’s Video On Demand section though you’ll have to scroll down the video list a bit to find the link.

As previously reported, it is pretty much the same as the “Big Wheel” video, just with different still images strung together.

If you can stream Windows Media have have a high-speed connection, this link should bring the video up directly. Though, considering the amount of action that takes place, you can certainly get away with the lofi stream instead!

Save The Date: Tori On The Tonight Show

    Thursday, August 16, 2007 | 01:24 UTC | Posted by woj | TV/Radio/Web

While it’s way off in the distant future and, for now, just a side-note in the current symphony (cacophony?) of tour news and ticket sales, Matt Chamberlain, in the Upcoming Shows section of his Myspace, let slip that Tori will be on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Monday, October 1st. Of course, it’s a little too soon to find confirmation of this on NBC or the television listings sites but hey! Matty should know what he’s talking about!

Thanks to Robert Schrader for the tip!

Tori On Live @ The Orange Lounge

    Tuesday, August 14, 2007 | 23:20 UTC | Posted by Violet | TV/Radio/Web

Clips of Tori performing several songs are up in the Live @ The Orange Lounge section of the Sympatico / MSN site. Don’t know if they’re any good … the website wants me to download a bunch of Microsoft stuff to play them, and I don’t wanna. Thanks to Ed and chuck for the head’s up.

Bouncing Off Clouds Serviced to Triple A Radio

    Thursday, August 09, 2007 | 19:49 UTC | Posted by woj | Releases,TV/Radio/Web

The Triple A Radio update for the week of August 13th at RadioAndRecords.com indicates that “Bouncing Off Clouds” is being serviced to Triple A radio stations. Keep an eye on R&R’s Triple A chart to see if it gains any airplay. (Interestingly, “Big Wheel” is still hanging on at 30th place on the August 10th chart! Nice!)

    A Molly Good Analysis

    Saturday, July 21, 2007 | 19:58 UTC | Posted by Beth | Touring,TV/Radio/Web

Plenty has already been said about the Dolls and their fashion sense, but the celeb-watchers over at Molly Good decided to take a turn recently, and came up with a piece called Character Study. The entry is short on verbiage but includes several nice shots of the Dolls on stage. Thanks to Astred for the tip!

Montreux Jazz Festival Interview: The Last Tour?

    Wednesday, July 18, 2007 | 15:16 UTC | Posted by woj | TV/Radio/Web,Video

There is a new video interview clip posted at lexpress.ch which was done during Tori’s recent visit to the Montreux Jazz Festival. In the clip, she reflects on the Festival as being the starting point of her career, the power of seduction, and her future as a touring artist. While she doesn’t say she’ll never tour again, she does say that she’s not planning another big world tour.

Recap Of Radcliffe & Maconie Chat

    Tuesday, July 17, 2007 | 22:00 UTC | Posted by Violet | TV/Radio/Web

Tori’s interview on Radcliffe & Maconie on BBC Radio 2 ended a few minutes ago. Here’s a short recap:

Tori talked about how touring has been going, performed “Beauty Of Speed,” explanation and discussion of ADP concept, Tori’s Native American medicine bag (which she apparently had with her), her favorite (US) road trips then U2’s “In God’s Country” was played (since Tori mentioned Joshua Tree being one of her favorite road trip stops), then onto the joys of getting older and becoming a “classic car,” the dangers of getting trapped in one’s own [media] image, how much Husband loves Santa, and the show was closed with a performance of “Cooling.” A fun interview.

Did you miss it? It should show up in the Listen Again section of the Radcliffe & Maconie website next week. The entire show is available now via the BBC’s Listen Again. The appearance starts 1 hour and 11 minutes into the program. (Thanks Sarah!)

Frank was nice enough to record the broadcast off-air and has provided links to a mp3 of the interview which you can pick up via yousendit or sendspace. Thanks Frank!

If anyone can provide a transcription, we’ll include it here.
