Fort Myers: Up To The Mountains, Down To The Sea

    Sunday, November 18, 2007 | 04:15 UTC | Posted by woj | Touring

Tonight’s show in Fort Myers was opened by Isabel. She increased her repertoire by one, playing the elusive “Mountain” one song into her set which also included “Sweet Sangria” and “Tombigbee”. Not to be outdone, Tori brought one tour debut to the table: “Suede”. The set also featured the rarely performed “Seaside” during T & Bö.

As you might imagine, the full setlist has been posted in the Tour section. Thanks to pianoguy7883 and Ryan for providing it this evening!

Also as you might imagine, we’d all love to hear what everyone thought of the concert. If you care to share, please use the form at the bottom of the Fort Myers page to record your review for posterity.

This show is available for download from Legs & Boots.

Orlando: Pip Rocks Hard (And Live)

    Saturday, November 17, 2007 | 16:22 UTC | Posted by woj | Touring

Pip opened the November 16th show at the Orlando’s Hard Rock Live, busting out “Heart of Gold” for the first time since the European leg of the tour. Tori’s set contained some surprises as well too: “A Case of You” and “Toast” (a tour debut!) were played during T & Bö and “Past The Mission” was debuted as well, but the real corker was during the first encore when “Not David Bowie” was performed for the first time ever!

The full setlist, which was sent in by Julia Goolia, spinnyboy and romandj, has been posted in the tour section. If you were there, feel free to use the comment form there to send in your review of the show!

Unfortunately, this show is not slated for release via Legs & Boots.

    News-Press Article (November 16, 2007)

    Saturday, November 17, 2007 | 15:26 UTC | Posted by woj | Articles

Thanks to Kimberly for sending us the link to this article previewing tonight’s concert in Fort Myers. The article appeared in the November 16th edition of The News-Press, a newspaper which serves southwestern Florida.

As concert previews go, this is worth perusing as the author had the chance to interview Tori on the phone before the show in Buffalo. She drops the amusing anecdote that some folks in the audience haven’t clued into the fact that the Doll who comes on stage before her is her.

Check it out below or read it on the News-Press’ website.

    Saturday, November 17, 2007 | 00:01 UTC | Posted by Saar | Articles

I’ve got to tell you, every day you do stuff that you’re not so proud of and you say stuff that you wish you could have done better, but that’s what being on the planet’s about. And I must say to you, sometimes I think, God, I’ve got to give people a break if I expect them to give me a break. Okay, so, she pooped on her Manalos. Give her a break.

There’s a short interview in the latest issue of SOMA magazine (‘The Obsession Issue’ – November 2007). The article is called ‘Hand Signal’ and comes with a palm reading of Tori’s hand. Thank you very smuchly, David Anderson!
